The Brooks Women's Ghost 5 lives up to the reputation of its predecessors, offering a slightly lighter shoe with an extended Caterpillar Crashpad and Tongue Tied lacing. The shoe incorporates a sole partially reshaped in the forefoot area that gives the runner a stable upright footing and flexibility in motion.
For the Ghost 5, Brooks have extended the Caterpillar Crashpad in the midsole to give both heel and midfoot strikers excellent cushioning for comfort. The Tongue Tied lacing prevents the tongue from sliding out of position during your run.
Like its predecessors the Ghost 5 has been deemed "Editor's Choice" in Runner's World's Fall 2012 Shoe Guide.
