Tell us a bit about yourself
Obviously my passion is running, but love hitting speeds on my Boardman race bike and nothing like a battle on the squash courts. Love the movies and my other passion is home cinema. My very energetic son keeps me on my toes - no idea where he gets it from!
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Brooks Connect 2 - Minimal and lightweight and yet still very cushioned. Used at all distances in training and racing from 400m reps to the marathon.
How often do you go running?
Have you taken part in any challenges/marathons/races or similar?
Have competed in all distances from the mile to 52 miles. I enjoy Parkruns on a regular basis to keep the legs ticking over, currently having a good run at 1/2 marathon distances. I have competed 18 marathons which include London, Las Vegas, Monaco, Disney Florida, Amsterdam, Berlin and Dublin. Ran the Hood 2 Coast relay in the US a 147 mile race across Oregon, I have also run a few Ultras distances up to 52 miles and have competed in triathlon and Half Ironman distances.
What's your favourite music to run to?
Bit of an 80's man and throw in some Power Ballads and I'm good to go!
Are you taking part in any events this year?
Will focus on bringing my half marathon and marathon time down later this year, with regular Parkruns and 10k for speed. Have the Adidas Thunder run in July a team relay event covering as many of the 10k laps as possible in the 24 hrs.

Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a big sports enthusiast but my middle distance running is my real passion. It's a great mix between the long runs along the round or common and the hard speed runs on the track. Coming from a training background I also love to keep up to date with new fitness workouts and when I do finally take a break from exercise, I love to catch a good movie or theatre show
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Previously I loved to run in the Saucony Fastwitch as they are a great lightweight racing shoe which are also great for training in. Now I've changed to the new ON Cloud Racers as along with being super lightweight racer they also have great cushioning for such a streamline shoe.
How often do you go running?
6-7 days per week.
Have you taken part in any challenges/marathons/races or similar?
Over the 2013 winter I took part in the Surrey League cross country league for my club which included the National cross country championship. I also ran the Brighton Half Marathon in February in 1 hr 22 mins.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
Over the summer I'll be racing the 800m-1500m on the track before the road and cross country season starts again in the Autumn. I'll run at a few parkruns over the year and I'd also like to do the Royal Parks Half Marathon and run it in a sub 1 hr 20 mins.
Do you have any certificates or qualifications?
I am a qualified Personal Trainer, Running coach, Athletics coach and also have certificates in spin, Aqua and Kettlebell training.
