Kensington Store
Our Kensington store has all you need to get out running or to replace those worn out shoes, shorts and shirts that you use on your daily run. So that we can provide the high level of service that we pride ourselves on, a shoe fitting (including gait analysis assessment) will usually take between 15 and 30 minutes.
So why not pay us a visit? We'd love to meet you - whether you're a seasoned marathon runner or a complete beginner.

- Tell us about yourself
- I have just finished my GCSE's and am looking forward to my A levels and then on to University (in America, fingers crossed). I cycle at every opportunity and do laps round Richmond Park no matter what the weather. I am also an orchestral musician and whilst I should probably get a little more practice done it's great fun, especially as it takes you all around Europe.
- What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
- My favourite shoes are my current ones, the Brooks T7 Racers although I might soon give in to the Nike Zoom Victory obsession sweeping the athletics world. The reason I like them is that they are both ULTRA lightweight and its just like running with nothing on your feet.
- How often do you go running?
- As often as possible.
- Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
- I started taking part in serious competitions two years ago and have not stopped since! I started from the bottom with local races around Surrey such as the 2XU Surrey League, I then started to compete in the major champs with my first disastrous race at the home of London cross country, Parliament Hill. For the South England Champs, I crossed the line having left all my energy and my left shoe in the muddy hills of Hampstead. My first National Championship will still be my favourite ever race as the trip up to Leeds was made worth it by a great course and a great time. Finally, I represented Surrey against the southern counties this year which has just astonished me with the relentless pace required and left me wanting more - ideally next time I won't be ill.
- Are you taking part in any events this year?
- This year I hope to really perform right at the top of my ability. After a PB getting me into the Surrey 1500m finals, I am aiming to go faster still at the South of England 1500m. I will take part in my first big road race this year at the Great South run and am looking to dip under the magic hour mark for the 10 mile course. I hope to get a place in the surrey team for the World Trials and UK champs this year so that I can really test myself against the rest of the country.
- What's your favourite music to run to?
- 80's.
