Southwark Bridge Store - Now Open

We are pleased to announce our 12th Runners Need central London store on Upper Thames Street, City of London.

The 3,767 square foot location will also house Cycle Surgery and is located just off Southwark Bridge Road, a bustling commuter zone into the heart of London. The positioning couldn't be better - taking a front row seat at many high profile races including the London Marathon, London Triathlon and many 2012 Olympic events this year.

The prime city centre location will be a thriving hub for city dwellers and commuters alike, offering a premium specialist retail experience, a wide range of products and the best running and cycling expertise under one roof.

The latest Runners Need store will launch in partnership with Nike, following a successful venture at our Spitalfields store. The premium retail platform will be central to customers' overall shopping experience from the moment they enter the store, and showcase the latest season's running footwear and apparel trends to hit the UK. An integral part of the service offering will be the launch of a Nike+ Run Club, established around the successful Nike+ run community.

In addition to Nike, Upper Thames Street will also feature a wide selection of men's and women's technical running clothing, footwear and accessories from leading running brands, including Nike, Brooks, Asics, Adidas, Gore, 2XU and Saucony.

The store will also offer video gait analysis technology to analyse customers' running action and recommend appropriate running footwear, along with unrivalled levels of expertise, and service from staff that know and understand running.

With less than 200 days to the Olympics and the city's runners out in force, the capital is already alive and active. We look forward to welcoming all customers to the store, when it launches in February.
