Building on the trusted foundation of its predecessor, this latest version introduces several performance upgrades. A breathable engineered mesh upper improves comfort and fit, while increased forefoot cushioning provides a smoother, more responsive ride. For convenience, a new heel pull-tab at the tongue makes slipping in and out easier than ever.
Experience the plush feel of PureGEL technology for cloud-like impact absorption, paired with FlyteFoam Blast+ MAX for lightweight, energised cushioning that keeps you feeling fast and supported throughout your run whilst the 3D Guidance System helps guide your foot into a natural stride, offering structured support without limiting movement.
Durability is another standout feature: the outsole is built with AHARPLUS rubber compound to ensure exceptional grip and high abrasion resistance, no matter the distance.

Innovative from the very start, ASICS’ first pair of shoes, produced in 1949, featured a unique recessed sole design, which mimicked the action of an octopus’ suction cup. They were targeted at Japan’s up-and-coming basketball scene and, despite some notable successes of ASICS athletes in the 1950s and 60s, it wasn’t until the 1970s that the company established itself in the athletics world as a go-to manufacturer of running shoes.
Today, ASICS is one of the world’s best known makers of performance shoes and apparel and the true runner’s choice, whether at professional sporting events, the Olympics or on a casual run in the park.
