No great surprise: running's number one. I love the training, the racing, following the sport and getting to know other runners. Our Wednesday night runs are (really!) a weekly highlight for me. Go to a fair few gigs and John and I do our best to ensure a good eclectic soundtrack to shopping here.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Changes on a daily basis. The DS Trainer 6 has a place in my heart as my first quality running shoe many years ago; I loved and miss the Nike Mayfly; the Nike Maxcat is the most beautiful spike I've ever had. So many lovely shoes.
How often do you go running?
Every day barring calamity.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
I've dabbled in everything from 400m to marathon since my early teens. The Clifton Suspension Bridge to Windsor Castle relay in 2011 was a particularly fun and unusual event.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
I'll be racing on the road, track and country.

I love the outdoors as a whole, and pretty much any sport that goes with it. I currently train for triathlons and rock climbing, but have dabbled in a lot of other things, such as kayaking, canoeing and sailing.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Brooks Pure Cadence 2, as they have a great balance between cushioning and weight, and are simply a lot of fun to train in.
How often do you go running?
4 or 5 times a week.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
Various races and triathlons. Ran cross country for Ealing and Southall AC last year.
What's your favourite music to run to?
From Coldplay to Crossfaith; anything that keeps me in the mood.

Set to take part in the Stowe Half-Ironman.

Started running seriously when I moved to London and couldn't afford a gym membership: I quickly became hooked. I now fit running in around my work and studies as I am aiming to become a barrister. Always been into sport and play football and cricket, and I rowed at uni. I also love to read, and have a history degree from the University of Sheffield.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Nike LunarGlide+ 4. A fairly cushioned neutral shoe that have lasted ages!
How often do you go running?
Four or five times a week.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
Ran the 2013 Brighton Marathon.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
I am aiming for another marathon in April 2014. Now that I have done one, I have a time to beat.

I'm a student doing A-Levels before going off to uni to do English. I'm a huge fan of most sports but football is definitely my favourite. Enjoy running and compete regularly for Ealing, Southall and Middlesex AC on track in the summer and over cross country in winter.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Nike Pegasus. I've had a few pairs now and they are just generally a good shoe all round. The Adidas Boost range seem very comfortable too.
How often do you go running?
6 times a week with my club ESM.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
Over the last few years I've raced at all levels of domestic athletics on both track and cross country from local borough races right through to nationals.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
A standard cross country season with my club so everything from Met Leagues to Nationals before getting back on the indoor track in the new year.
