How long have you worked at Runners Need?
Since June 2012.
Tell us about yourself
No great surprise: running's number one. I love the training, the racing, following the sport and getting to know other runners. Our Wednesday night runs are (really!) a weekly highlight for me. Go to a fair few gigs and John and I do our best to ensure a good eclectic soundtrack to shopping here.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Changes on a daily basis. The DS Trainer 6 has a place in my heart as my first quality running shoe many years ago; I loved and miss the Nike Mayfly; the Nike Maxcat is the most beautiful spike I've ever had. So many lovely shoes.
How often do you go running?
Every day barring calamity.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
I've dabbled in everything from 400m to marathon since my early teens. The Clifton Suspension Bridge to Windsor Castle relay in 2011 was a particularly fun and unusual event.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
I'll be racing on the road, track and country.

I love the outdoors as a whole, and pretty much any sport that goes with it. I currently train for triathlons and rock climbing, but have dabbled in a lot of other things, such as kayaking, canoeing and sailing.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Brooks Pure Cadence 2, as they have a great balance between cushioning and weight, and are simply a lot of fun to train in.
How often do you go running?
4 or 5 times a week.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
Various races and triathlons. Ran cross country for Ealing and Southall AC last year.
What's your favourite music to run to?
From Coldplay to Crossfaith; anything that keeps me in the mood.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
Set to take part in the Stowe Half-Ironman.

A journalist by day, running is my one true love and the only thing that makes me happier than writing about running or talking about running, is actually running.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
I run in Brooks Pure Connect. I like a minimal shoe because it makes me feel light-footed and free.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
I've run a dozen half marathons, a few marathons and the odd ultra marathon. I love running around town with friends, but I'm at my happiest lost in the mountains.
What's your favourite music to run to?
Disco
Are you taking part in any events this year?
I'm training for the Istanbul Marathon in November, but the Hoka Highland Fling 53 mile-ultra in the spring is my A race.

Tell us about yourself
I'm an Italian guy from a little village in the Italian Alps and loves running as much as his life. I've been a serious runner since 2005, I have run for the Italian national team in cross country and mountain running 18 times. I love the outdoors and listen to a lot of music. I came to London for a new adventure and i'm very excited and happy to be working for Runners Need.
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
The Mizuno Wave Rider 18 for lightness, good cushioning and great resilience at the same time, perfect for training and running fast.
How often do you go running?
Every day, and in the summer twice a day.
What's your favourite music to run to?
The sound of the mountains, the nature, the city or wherever I run. I usually don't listen music when I run but i like to hear and feel the sounds around me.
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
Many international races. My best results are in mountain running: a bronze in 2011 World Championships, silver in 2010 European Championships and a bronze in 2014 European Championships; but my favourite race was the European Cross Country Championships in 2008 in Brussels when after a great muddy fight I came 9th just 5 seconds behind third. It was a crazy race for me.
Are you taking part in any events this year?
European Mountain Running Championships in Madeira, Portugal in July and most importantly of all the World Mountain Running Championships in Bets y Coed, Wales in September. I will also take part in some road and track races, 5000m and 10000m.
