Tell us about yourself:

I am a keen sports person with an express interest in athletics, specifically sprinting. I love most other outdoor sports and have been trying climbing recently. I am a REPS 3 personal trainer and having run a successful business, I know what's needed to win.

What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?

I have a number of pairs of sprint spikes, however my favourite are an old pair of Nike Maxcat's. More recently for longer runs I have been using a pair of Mizuno Wave Musha - I love them. Being very lightweight they are not a million miles away from my spikes.

How often do you go running?

4 - 5 times a week.

Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?

In the past I have taken part in many track competitions ranging from small club events to Northern Championships.

Are you taking part in any events this year?

Nothing is planned for this year apart from some hard training to get back in shape after an accident.

Do you have any relevant certificates or qualifications?

Diploma in Personal Training; Sports Nutrition and weight management, boxercise, ETM, Spinning, Pilates, etc; Level 1 Coaching certificate in Disabled Athletics.

What's your favourite music to run to?

Blues - it's calming.
