King's Cross Store

King's Cross is one of our top stores featuring Gait Analysis and trained staff who are keen runners. We have a complete range of products. So that we can provide the high level of service that we pride ourselves on, a shoe fitting (including gait analysis assessment) will usually take between 15 and 30 minutes. So please leave yourself plenty of time for your fitting, especially at the end of the day. So why not pay us a visit? We'd love to meet you - whether you're a seasoned marathon runner or a complete beginner

How long have you worked at Runners Need?
4 months
Tell us about yourself:
85% of my time is probably all about running, I love to run and when I am not running I love to pass on my enthusiasm for the sport onto others. Sometimes I like to add a bit of swimming and biking into the mix and hope to dip my toes into the world of triathlon!! However I am not a complete running geek and also enjoy football coming from the North I am a through and through Manchester United fan which maybe is not best to broadcast living in London and of course I do love the social life!!
What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?
Saucony Kinvara. A great lightweight shoe which provides enough support for my long runs and are brilliant for threshold training - a great all round shoe!
How often do you go running?
6 times a week - twice a day
Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?
The most challenging races I have done are mountain races...the hills really make you hurt a true mental test. The best mountain races I have done was the World Mountain Championships in New Zealand and the British Fell Champs taking on the hills of Snowdonia and Skiddaw...that is not to say the xc season is equally as challenging!!
What's your favourite music to run to?
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Are you taking part in any challenges/marathons/races this year?
With road running being my favourite surface still at only 22 it is my long term aim to do a marathon or 2...maybe 3 or 4,but at the moment I am concentrating on having a strong xc season followed by a few 10k's on the road, from there I will hit the mountains and possibly the dreaded track!
Do you have any relevant certificates or qualifications?
BA in Sports Business Management
