How long have you worked at Runners Need?

A few months.

Tell us about yourself:

I haven't settled on a favourite sport because I enjoy everything and give anything a go. I've only been running for 2 years but started with training apps and GPS watches to get me out. Trail running came into to the mix on a wet September morning when I decided to go the local woods. Other regular activities include mountaineering, sport climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, weight training, swimming and kickboxing.

What are your favourite shoes to run in and why?

For road running I use Mizuno Wave Inspire 7 because they are lightweight and fit my feet well. Trail shoes are my old Adidas Kanadia TR2 because you can run anything in them. Adidas Swoop 2 are my fell running choice of shoe because they are mega grippy and flexible.

How often do you go running?

Twice a week.

Have you taken part in any marathons, challenges or races?

I tend to run on my own and make my own path as I go. I take part in regular fun runs and last year I ran the Liverpool Big Heart 5K for the Blues. Recently Ive started incorporating cycling and running together.

Are you taking part in any events this year?

Hopefully if all training goes according to plan I aim to compete in the Oulton park Duathlon in September. 5K run, 30K ride and 5K run (again!)

Drum n' Bass, Electronic and Dubstep
