On Running was founded in 2010 in the Swiss Alps. The founders had one goal: to revolutionise the sensation of running. They aimed to do this by creating a running shoe that was different to anything currently on the market, which would allow the wearer to experience soft landings followed by explosive take-offs. They refer to this sensation as running on clouds.

Since then, On has been used by over 3 million runners in over 50 countries, and is popular with road, trail, and professional athletes alike. From the Cloud to the new Cloudstratus, there is an On shoe for every runner.

The Cloudstratus is a performance shoe with maximum cushioning. Two layers of Helion™ enriched CloudTec® give both vertical and horizontal cushioning. The Clouds distribute pressure as the foot lands, then supports a powerful push off. The soft and strong mesh allows the shoe to support the natural motion of the foot, when your foot flexes, so does the shoe.
