The Men's Hoka Speedgoat 5 Shoes retain the beloved elements of Hoka's award-winning trail running design, while incorporating several new and enhanced features to optimize your trail-running experience. Hoka has streamlined the Speedgoat 5 by replacing 3D printed overlays with a dual-layered creel jacquard mesh, making the shoe lighter. Additionally, a softer, more lightweight Compression molded midsole offers exceptional responsiveness and energy return, improving your performance.
To ensure you stay on course, the Vibram MegaGrip outsole features new micro-traction 5mm stepped lugs that provide 25% better traction by increasing the surface area, especially beneficial on wet and loose gravel trails. Other notable enhancements include a dynamic vamp for improved foot splay during longer runs, a reinforced heel construction for a secure fit, and a more comfortable, lay-flat tongue construction.
